Sailing Experience - 13/04/2019

Ever fancied sailing the high seas?! Okay - maybe not the high seas! But how about a fun-filled day in North Wales (Deganwy), on a fantastic river experience, sailing on a 33 foot steel cutter called Whimbrels Song.
We'll be leaving Burscough at 11:30am on Saturday 27th April and returning later that night.  There are only 12 spaces available, so get your name down quick! Please see Phil Marshall or Paul Dolan to book, or sign up in the Westend.
The sailing experience is being provided by the Guilletmot Trust, which was setup by the philanthropist Henry Bicket in 2009. His vision was that the Trust would give sailing experience to those who would not otherwise have the opportunity. As such, there is no set charge for the day, however as they rely on donations to function, we suggest that each person attending gives a donation for the experience of around £15-£20. We intend to travel to Wales in 3-4 cars, so that we can share travel costs.
