UK Outreach

In August 2003 a group of 8 leaders and young people where involved in Festival Manchester where we camped for a week in Heaton Park in Manchester, and went out each day to the Moston area to work in a group of around 20 people from all over the world in tidying a park area and a couple of communal areas of a block of flats for elderly people.

In July 2004 a group of 4 of us teamed up with a group from Southport to go to Soul In The City. The group from St John's where split into 2, with 2 of us in a group of 27 people working on cleaning up a homeless peoples shelter, and a park area, while the other 2 worked on tidying up a market place.
