Baby & Toddler Group

We extend a very warm welcome to you to join us at Baby & Toddler Group.

Here at St. John’s, we aim to give a warm welcome to everyone. We offer a safe and happy environment for the team to work with parents, carers and children. We value and care for every member of the team.

It is our hope that we can offer true friendship to everyone who comes to our group and to create an environment where friendships can be made among our group members. We also encourage parents and carers to assist and participate so that you may feel an essential part of the group.

Meeting times

Wednesdays during term time only: 9.45 to 11.15 am and 1.30 to 3 pm

What we do

Our sessions run for approximately 1½ hours. Each session is designed to give parents, carers and children opportunities to have fun, build new friendships and learn about the Christian faith.

There will be toys set out for free play. We also have some areas identified for more structured play and craft activities. Parents are encouraged to join with us during story and singing time.

During the session there will be an area for parents and carers to sit and chat, and a time for refreshments.

Facilities

There is a range of different toys for both babies and toddlers, which we try to alternate to keep the children’s interest.

The toilet area includes facilities for the disabled and a nappy changing area.
