Events Support Team (Team Member)

To be part of a team who assist with the practical preparations involved in running church events throughout the year.(Team members may not necessarily support every event, depending on the number of volunteers in the team and the nature of the event)

Responsible To: Events Coordinator
Time Committment: As required
                                                                                                                
As part of this role a volunteer would have the following responsibilities:
  • Attend planning meetings held by the Events Coordinator, when required
  • Attend events to assist with practical arrangements for example: assisting in the erecting of the marquee, putting out chairs and tables, ensuring these are put away again and ensuring that areas are left clean and tidy afterwards


A volunteer in this role would require some or all of the following attributes:
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexible and prepared to assist as directed by the Events Coordinator
  • Willingness to carry out practical tasks indoors and out of doors
  • Reliable and commited to ensuring that events run smoothly


In order for someone to be able to perform this role the following training and support will be given:
  • Initial training and ongoing support given by the Events Coordinator
